Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Az-Zukhruf ayat 29 - الزُّخرُف - Page - Juz 25
﴿بَلۡ مَتَّعۡتُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَرَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 29]
﴿بل متعت هؤلاء وآباءهم حتى جاءهم الحق ورسول مبين﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar Nay! (It is) I (Who) made these people enjoy (the life of this world) until Al-Haqq as well as a Manifestly-evident Messenger came to them |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Nay! I gave enjoyment to these and to their fathers until The Truth drew near them and a clear Messenger |
| Dr Munir Munshey In fact, I let these people and their forefathers enjoy (the pleasures of) life. Now the truth (this Qur´an) has come to them, as well as the messenger explaining (everything) clearly |
| Edward Henry Palmer Nay; but I let these (Meccans) and their fathers have enjoyment until the truth came to them, and an apostle |
| Farook Malik But they started worshipping others, and rather than punishing I kept on providing them and their forefathers the comfort of this life, until there came to them the truth and a Messenger to expound it clearly |
| George Sale Verily I have permitted these Meccans and their fathers to live in prosperity, until the truth should come unto them, and a manifest apostle |
| Maududi (Even when they began worshipping others than Allah We did not destroy them) but bestowed sustenance on them and on their forefathers until there came to them the Truth and a Messenger who clearly expounded things to them |
