﴿وَلَوۡلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ لَّجَعَلۡنَا لِمَن يَكۡفُرُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ سُقُفٗا مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 33]
﴿ولولا أن يكون الناس أمة واحدة لجعلنا لمن يكفر بالرحمن لبيوتهم سقفا﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 33]
| Dr Kamal Omar And were it not that mankind would have become one community, We would have indeed provided for that one who disbelieves in Ar-Rahman— for their houses, roofs made of silver, and the stair-ways they will mount thereon |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And were it not that humanity be one community, would We have made for whoever is ungrateful for The Merciful, roofs of silver for their houses, and stairways which they would scale up |
