﴿وَسۡـَٔلۡ مَنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلۡنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةٗ يُعۡبَدُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 45]
﴿واسأل من أرسلنا من قبلك من رسلنا أجعلنا من دون الرحمن آلهة﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 45]
| Dr Kamal Omar And ask whom We sent before you out of Our Messengers: ‘Did We appoint besides Ar-Rahman, aalihah (gods) that may be obeyed (by people)?’ |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And ask ones whom We sent before thee of Our Messengers: Made We gods other than the Merciful to be worshiped |
| Dr Munir Munshey Ask the people, to whom We had sent Our messengers prior to you. Did We assign any god to be worshipped, other than the most Merciful (the ´Rehman´) |
| Edward Henry Palmer And ask those whom we have sent before thee amongst the prophets, 'Did we make gods beside the Merciful One for them to serve |
