﴿أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ وَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
[الدُّخان: 13]
﴿أنى لهم الذكرى وقد جاءهم رسول مبين﴾ [الدُّخان: 13]
| Dr Kamal Omar How (could) the admonition (become beneficial) for them (at this stage)? And surely the Messenger did come to them — being one who was manifestly evident |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar What will there be as a reminder for them? A clear Messenger drew near them |
| Dr Munir Munshey Why this change of heart? (Earlier) the messenger had come to them, and had explained matters to them clearly. (But they rejected him) |
| Edward Henry Palmer How can they have the reminder (now), when they have had a plain apostle |
| Farook Malik But how can the acceptance of Our Message at that time be beneficial to them? A Messenger (Muhammad), who makes the things clear, has already come to them |
| George Sale How should an admonition be of avail to them in this condition; when a manifest apostle came unto them |
| Maududi But how will they take heed? Such are they that a Messenger came to them clearly expounding the Truth |
