﴿فَهَلۡ عَسَيۡتُمۡ إِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ أَن تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْ أَرۡحَامَكُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 22]
﴿فهل عسيتم إن توليتم أن تفسدوا في الأرض وتقطعوا أرحامكم﴾ [مُحمد: 22]
| Dr Kamal Omar Would you then be tempted if you gained authority, that you may create mischief on the earth and cut off your wombs (i.e., sever your ties of kinship) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Will it be that if you turned away, you would make corruption in the earth and cut off your ties with blood relations |
