Thus still they said to Mussa: "O Mussa, we shall never make - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 24 in Tafsir

﴿قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَآ أَبَدٗا مَّا دَامُواْ فِيهَا فَٱذۡهَبۡ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَٰهُنَا قَٰعِدُونَ ﴾

Thus still they said to Mussa: "O Mussa, we shall never make entry therein so long as they are within; you go along with Allah, your Creator and fight them yourselves; we are staying here
