﴿وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقۡطَعُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 38]
﴿والسارق والسارقة فاقطعوا أيديهما جزاء بما كسبا نكالا من الله والله عزيز﴾ [المَائدة: 38]
| Dr Kamal Omar And the male thief and the female thief — then you cut off the hands of both of them — as a recompense for what (these) two earned — an exemplary punishment from Allah. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise |
