﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُحَرِّمُواْ طَيِّبَٰتِ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 87]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا لا تحرموا طيبات ما أحل الله لكم ولا تعتدوا﴾ [المَائدة: 87]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you people who have Believed! Do not make unlawful the Tayyibat what Allah has made lawful to you, and do not transgress. Verily, Allah does not like the transgressors |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! Forbid not what is good that God permitted to you and exceed not the limits. Truly, God loves not the ones who exceed the limits |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh you who believe! Do not deny yourself anything wholesome that Allah has made lawful for you. Do not exceed the limit. Indeed Allah does not like (the transgressors) _ those who trespass beyond the bounds |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye who believe! forbid not the good things which God has made lawful for you, nor transgress; verily, God loves not the transgressors |
| Farook Malik O believers! Do not make unlawful those wholesome things which Allah has made lawful for you. Do not transgress; Allah does not love the transgressors |
| George Sale O ye who believe! make not unlawful the good things which God has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Surely God loves not the transgressors |
| Maududi Believers! Do not hold as unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful to you, and do not exceed the bounds of right. Allah does not love those who transgress the bounds of right |
