﴿بَلۡ عَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَيۡءٌ عَجِيبٌ ﴾
[قٓ: 2]
﴿بل عجبوا أن جاءهم منذر منهم فقال الكافرون هذا شيء عجيب﴾ [قٓ: 2]
| Dr Kamal Omar Nay! They have wondered that there has come to them a warner from amongst themselves. Then the disbelievers said: “This (Al-Kitab in the hands of this warner is) something strange |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Nay! They marveled that there drew near them one who warns from among themselves. So the ones who are ungrateful said: This is a strange thing |
| Dr Munir Munshey In fact, they are surprised because one of their own, (a mortal like themselves), came to them as a warner. The unbelievers said, "That is really odd |
