Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Ar-Rahman ayat 56 - الرَّحمٰن - Page - Juz 27
﴿فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ ﴾
[الرَّحمٰن: 56]
﴿فيهن قاصرات الطرف لم يطمثهن إنس قبلهم ولا جان﴾ [الرَّحمٰن: 56]
| Dr Kamal Omar In these (are wonderful members of a new creation) who restrain the glance. No human being has become acquainted of them before those (Believers who have been allowed entry in Paradise) and nor a jinn |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar In them both are ones who are restraining their (f) glance. No humankind touched them (f) sexually before nor ones who are spirits |
| Dr Munir Munshey In these (gardens of paradise), the righteous shall have mates that are chaste-eyed and demure _ not deflowered by any human or jinn before them |
| Edward Henry Palmer Therein are maids of modest glances whom no man nor ginn has deflowered before |
| Farook Malik Therein will be bashful virgins, whom neither any man nor jinn has touched before |
| George Sale Therein shall receive them beauteous damsels, refraining their eyes from beholding any besides their spouses: Whom no man shall have deflowered before them, neither any genius |
| Maududi In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before |
