﴿وَلَوۡلَآ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَآءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ ﴾
[الحَشر: 3]
﴿ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ولهم في الآخرة﴾ [الحَشر: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar And if (had it) not (been) that Allah decreed for them the banishment, indeed He would have punished them in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is the torment of the Fire |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar If God prescribed not banishment for them, He would have punished them in the present. And for them in the world to come would be the punishment of the fire |
