﴿مَا قَطَعۡتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوۡ تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا قَآئِمَةً عَلَىٰٓ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيُخۡزِيَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[الحَشر: 5]
﴿ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبإذن الله وليخزي﴾ [الحَشر: 5]
Dr Kamal Omar Whatever you cut down of the palm-trees, or you left them standing on their stems — so it (is) with the permission of Allah; and so that He may disgrace the Fasiqun. [If it is necessary to cut down shade-providing and fruit-producing trees it could be done. We usually face these problems when we chase or mop-up the enemies of Islam during an armed encounter] |
