﴿هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٖ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلٗاۖ وَأَجَلٞ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 2]
﴿هو الذي خلقكم من طين ثم قضى أجلا وأجل مسمى عنده ثم﴾ [الأنعَام: 2]
| Dr Kamal Omar He it is Who has created you out of clay, then He decreed a (stated) term (or life-span for you) and (another) specified term in His Presence, yet you are: you are doubting (in the truthfulness of the Hereafter) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar It was He Who created you from clay, and, again, decided a term, a term, that which was determined by Him. Again, you contest |
| Dr Munir Munshey It is He Who created you out of clay, then decreed a term (of life) for you (in this world). There is another scheduled appointment for you _ (the day of Resurrection) _ known (only) to Him. Yet, you doubt its occurrence |
