﴿وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَٰٓجُّوٓنِّي فِي ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 80]

His people contended with him with opposing arguments against the thought of one Allah and warned him of their indignation. But he said to them: "Do you contend with me with opposing arguments against Allah Who has guided me to His path of righteousness!" "I do not regard with fear those deities whom you incorporate with Him nor shall I be in harm's way unless it be Allah's will. Allah, My Creator is Omnipresent, and His Omniscience embraces all in all; can you not reflect

ترجمة: وحاجه قومه قال أتحاجوني في الله وقد هدان ولا أخاف ما تشركون, باللغة الإنجليزية تفسير

﴿وحاجه قومه قال أتحاجوني في الله وقد هدان ولا أخاف ما تشركون﴾ [الأنعَام: 80]

And his nation indulged in arguments with him (to influence him in favour of their false, imaginary and illegitimate gods). He said: “Do you indulge in arguments with me in ‘Allah’, and definitely He has (already) guided me? And I do not fear of what (false gods) you indulge in polytheism therewith — except that My Nourisher-Sustainer desires something (otherwise. And He never desires anything that is undesirable). Comprehended, my Nourisher-Sustainer, all things in (His) knowledge. Will you then be not reminded (of reality)
