Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 80 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَٰٓجُّوٓنِّي فِي ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 80]
﴿وحاجه قومه قال أتحاجوني في الله وقد هدان ولا أخاف ما تشركون﴾ [الأنعَام: 80]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al His people argued with him and he said, “You argue with me about God, when He has guided me? I do not fear that which you associate with God, unless my Lord wills. My Guardian Evolver comprehends and delivers in His knowledge of all things. Will you then not be advised |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And his people argued with him. He said: do you argue with me about God while He has guided me, and I am not afraid of what you associate with Him, unless my Master wants anything, my Master’s knowledge includes everything, will you not take notice |
Ali Quli Qarai His people argued with him. He said, ‘Do you argue with me concerning Allah, while He has guided me for certain? I do not fear what you ascribe to Him as [His] partners, excepting anything that my Lord may wish. My Lord embraces all things in [His] knowledge. Will you not then take admonition |
Ali Unal His people set out to remonstrate with him. Abraham said: "Do you remonstrate with me concerning God, when He has guided me? I do not fear those that you associate with Him as partners (and that cannot even benefit or harm themselves, so what do I have to fear of your threats?). Whatever my Lord wills happens, and no evil befalls me unless He so wills. My Lord embraces all things in His Knowledge. Will you not, then, reflect and take heed |
Hamid S Aziz And his people disputed with him. He said, "Do you dispute with me concerning Allah, when He has guided me? But I fear not what you associate with Him; unless my Lord should wish it (nothing can happen). My Lord does comprehend all things in His know |
John Medows Rodwell And his people disputed with him. - He said: "Dispute ye with me about God, when He hath guided me? And I fear not the deities whom ye join with Him, for only by the will of my Lord have they any power: My Lord embraceth all things in His knowledge. Will ye not then consider |
Literal And his nation disputed with him, he said: "Do you argue/dispute with me in God and He had guided me, and I do not fear what you share/make partners (with God) with it, except that my lord wills/wants a thing, my lord spread/enriched every thing (in) knowledge, so do you not think |
Mir Anees Original And (when) his people argued with him, he said, "Do you argue with me about Allah Who has guided me, and I do not fear that which you associate as partners with Him, unless my Fosterer wills something. My Fosterer's knowledge extends over everything, will you not then be mindful |
Mir Aneesuddin And (when) his people argued with him, he said, "Do you argue with me about God Who has guided me, and I do not fear that which you associate as partners with Him, unless my Lord wills something. My Lord's knowledge extends over everything, will you not then be mindful |
