Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 94 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿وَلَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَتَرَكۡتُم مَّا خَوَّلۡنَٰكُمۡ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمۡۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمۡ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فِيكُمۡ شُرَكَٰٓؤُاْۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 94]
﴿ولقد جئتمونا فرادى كما خلقناكم أول مرة وتركتم ما خولناكم وراء ظهوركم﴾ [الأنعَام: 94]
| Dr Kamal Omar And truly you came to Us alone as We created you the first time and you left what We bestowed on you behind your backs; and We see not with you your intercessors whom you claimed that they are involved in you. Surely, (all relations) between you and them have been cut off, and has vanished from you what you used to claim |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, you drew near Us one by one as We created you the first time. And you left what We granted you behind your backs. We see not your intercessors with you, those whom you claimed as your ascribed associates. Certainly, the bonds between you were cut asunder. And gone astray from you is what you had been claiming |
| Dr Munir Munshey You have now really come before Us all alone, just like We fashioned you in the first instance. You have left behind everything We had bestowed upon you (in your lifetime). Today, We do not see your intercessors with you, those you used to claim were your partners. Of course, all ties between you have been severed. Those you had relied upon have now vanished |
| Edward Henry Palmer And ye come now single-handed as we created you at first, and ye have left behind your backs that which we granted you; and we see not with you your intercessors whom ye pretended were partners amongst you; betwixt you have the ties been cut asunder; and strayed away from you is what ye did pretend |
| Farook Malik Allah adds to what the angels said, "So you have come back to Us Alone as We created you at the first time, leaving behind all that which We gave you in that world and We don’t see with you your intercessors, whom you claimed to be Allah’s partners in your affairs; all your ties have been cut off and what you presumed has failed you |
| George Sale And now you come to Us one by one even as We create you at first, and you have left behind your backs that which We bestowed upon you, and We do not see with you your intercessors of whom you asserted that they were partners with God in your affairs. Now you have been cut off from one another and that which you asserted has failed you |
| Maududi (And Allah will say): ´Now you have come to Us all alone even as We had created you in the first instance, and you have left behind all that We had bestowed upon you in the world. We do not see with you your intercessors whom you imagined to have a share with Allah in your affairs. You have now been cut off from one another and all those whom you imagined (to be Allah´s associates in your affairs) have failed you.´ |
