﴿وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهُ خَضِرٗا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡهُ حَبّٗا مُّتَرَاكِبٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخۡلِ مِن طَلۡعِهَا قِنۡوَانٞ دَانِيَةٞ وَجَنَّٰتٖ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَابٖ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٍۗ ٱنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَيَنۡعِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكُمۡ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 99]
﴿وهو الذي أنـزل من السماء ماء فأخرجنا به نبات كل شيء فأخرجنا﴾ [الأنعَام: 99]
| Dr Kamal Omar And He it is Who sent down rain from the direction of the sky, then We brought forth, with the help of it, vegetation of all kind. And We brought forth, out of it, green (stalks). We bring forth, from it, grain, thickly clustered. And out of the date-palm — from its spathe (come forth) clusters (of dates) hanging low and near, and orchards of grapes, and olive and pomegranate, similar and (also) not similar (in appearance, size, shape and taste). Look, you people to its fruit when it brought (its) fruit and (also at the) ripeness thereof. Definitely, in this, to you, (are) sure signs for the nation who Believe (in One God) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And it is He Who caused to descend water from heaven. Then, We brought out from it every kind of bringing forth. Then, We brought out herbs from it. We bring out from it thick-clustered grain and from the date palm tree, from the spathe of it, thick clusters of dates, that which draws near and gardens of the grapevines and the olives and the pomegranates, like each to each and not resembling one another. Look on its fruit when it bore fruit and its ripening. Truly, in this are signs for a folk who believe |

| Farook Malik It is He Who sends down rainwater from the sky and therewith produces vegetation of all kinds: He brings forth green crops producing grain piled up in the ear, palm-trees laden with clusters of dates hanging within reach, gardens of grapes, olives, and pomegranates; though their fruit resembles in kind yet is different in variety. Look at their fruits as they yield and ripen. Behold! In these things there are signs for true believers |
