﴿لَّا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمۡ يُخۡرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ ﴾
[المُمتَحنَة: 8]
﴿لا ينهاكم الله عن الذين لم يقاتلوكم في الدين ولم يخرجوكم من﴾ [المُمتَحنَة: 8]
| Dr Kamal Omar Allah does not forbid you against those who indulged not in Qital against you on account of Religion, and did not drive you out from your houses — that you may deal with them politely and kindly and deal justly towards them. Surely, Allah likes those who deal with equity and justice |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar God prohibits you not from those who fight not against you because of your way of life nor drive you out of your abodes so be good and act justly towards them. Truly, God loves the ones who act justly |
