﴿هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ ﴾
[المُنَافِقُونَ: 7]
﴿هم الذين يقولون لا تنفقوا على من عند رسول الله حتى ينفضوا﴾ [المُنَافِقُونَ: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar They are the ones who say: “Spend not on those who are in presence of Allah’s Messenger until they desert (him).” And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They are those who say: Spend not on such ones who are with the Messenger of God until they break away. And to God belongs the treasures of the heavens and the earth but the ones who are hypocrites understand not |
| Dr Munir Munshey They are the ones who say, "Do not spend anything on the companions of Allah´s messenger. (Wait) till they desert him." (All) the treasures of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah. But the hypocrites do not understand |
| Edward Henry Palmer They it is who say, 'Expend not in alms upon those who are with the Apostle of God, in order that they may desert him!' - but God's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites have no sense |
