﴿هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ ﴾
[المُنَافِقُونَ: 7]
﴿هم الذين يقولون لا تنفقوا على من عند رسول الله حتى ينفضوا﴾ [المُنَافِقُونَ: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar They are the ones who say: “Spend not on those who are in presence of Allah’s Messenger until they desert (him).” And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They are those who say: Spend not on such ones who are with the Messenger of God until they break away. And to God belongs the treasures of the heavens and the earth but the ones who are hypocrites understand not |
| Farook Malik They are the same people who say: "Do not give anything to those who follow the Messenger of Allah until they have deserted him." To Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites cannot understand |
| Maududi It is they who say: "Give nothing to those who are with the Messenger of Allah so that they may disperse." (They say so although) the treasures of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah. But the hypocrites do not understand |
