﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ ﴾
[المُنَافِقُونَ: 9]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا لا تلهكم أموالكم ولا أولادكم عن ذكر الله ومن﴾ [المُنَافِقُونَ: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you who have Believed! Let not your possessions, and nor your children divert you against Zikr (‘Message’) of Allah. And whosoever does that, then those people; they (are) the losers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! Let not your wealth divert you nor your children from the Remembrance of God. And whoever accomplishes that, then, those, they are the ones who are losers |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh those of you who believe! Do not let your wealth and your children divert you away from the remembrance of Allah. Anyone doing that would indeed be the loser |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye who believe! let not your property nor your children divert you from the remembrance of God, - for whosoever does that, they are those who lose |
| Farook Malik O believers! Let neither your riches nor your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. Those who will do so, it is they who shall be the real losers |
| George Sale O true believers, let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of God: For whosoever doth this, they will surely be losers |
| Maududi Believers, let your possessions and your offspring not make you negligent of Allah´s remembrance. For whoso does that, they will be the losers |
