Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Al-Munafiqun ayat 10 - المُنَافِقُونَ - Page - Juz 28
﴿وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴾
[المُنَافِقُونَ: 10]
﴿وأنفقوا من ما رزقناكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب﴾ [المُنَافِقُونَ: 10]
| Dr Kamal Omar And spend out of that which We have bestowed on you as provision before (the stage) that death approaches any one of you, and he may say: 'My Nourisher-Sustainer! Why did You not give me respite for a little while so that I may give donation (in the Way of Allah), and I become of those who are righteous |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And spend of what We provided you before approaches death to any of you. Then, he will say: My Lord! If only Thou wouldst postpone it for a little term then, I would be charitable and be among the ones in accord with morality |
| Dr Munir Munshey Spend (in charity), out of what We have granted you, lest death comes to any of you and (remorsefully) he says, "My Lord, if only you grant me an extension, (a little more time), I would give (my wealth in) charity; and I would be righteous |
| Edward Henry Palmer But expend in alms of what we have bestowed upon you before death come on any one of you, and he says, 'My Lord! wouldst thou but have respited me till an appointed time nigh at hand, then would I surely give in charity and be among the righteous |
| Farook Malik Spend, in charity and in the Cause of Allah, out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on you before that time when death will come to anyone of you, and he shall say: "O my Lord! If only you would reprieve me for a little while then I would give out everything in charity, and be among the righteous |
| George Sale And give alms out of that which We have bestowed on you; before death come unto one of you, and he say, O Lord, wilt thou not grant me respite for a short term; that I may give alms, and become one of the righteous |
| Maududi And spend of what Allah has granted you by way of sustenance before death should come to any of you and he should say: "Lord, why did You not defer my return for a while so that I might give alms and be among the righteous |
