﴿قَالَ ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 24]
﴿قال اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 24]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Allah) said: “Shift, you people. Some of you to some (others, are) enemy. And for you, on earth, (is) a place for settlement and also provisions — for a term appointed.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He said: Get you down, some of you an enemy to some other. And for you on the earth an appointed time and enjoyment for awhile |
| Dr Munir Munshey (The Lord) said, "Get out of here! Both of you _ (humans and Shaitans) _ are each other´s enemy. For a (specified) time, your abode and your provisions shall be on earth |
| Edward Henry Palmer He said, 'Go ye down, one of you to the other a foe; but for you in the earth there is an abode, and a provision for a season |
| Farook Malik Allah said: "Go down, some of you are the enemy of others. The Earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood for a fixed term |
| George Sale God said, get ye down, the one of you an enemy unto the other; and ye shall have a dwelling place upon earth, and a provision for a season |
| Maududi Allah said: ´Go down; you are enemies one of the other. For you there is dwelling and provision on the earth for a while.´ |
