﴿۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تِلۡقَآءَ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 47]
﴿وإذا صرفت أبصارهم تلقاء أصحاب النار قالوا ربنا لا تجعلنا مع القوم﴾ [الأعرَاف: 47]
| Dr Kamal Omar And when their eyes were made to turn in the direction of the (would be) companions of the Fire, they said: “Our Nourisher-Sustainer! Do not place us with the nation of transgressors.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And when their sight would be turned away of its own accord to the Companions of the Fire, they will say: Our Lord assign Thou us not with the folk, ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey When their sight turns to the inmates of hellfire, they would say, "Our Lord, do not include us with the wicked people |
| Edward Henry Palmer But when their sight is turned towards the fellows of the Fire, they say, 'O our Lord! place us not with the unjust people |
| Farook Malik When their eyes shall turn towards the inmates of the hellfire they will say: "Our Lord! Do not cast us among these wrongdoers |
| George Sale And when they shall turn their eyes towards the companions of hell fire, they shall say, O Lord, place us not with the ungodly people |
| Maududi And when the eyes of the people of the Heights will be turned towards the people of Hell they will say: ´Our Lord! Do not cast us among the wrongdoing people.´ |
