﴿وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدّٗا وَلَا سُوَاعٗا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرٗا ﴾
[نُوح: 23]
﴿وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق﴾ [نُوح: 23]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they have said: ‘you shall not leave your gods; and nor you shall leave Wadd and nor Suwa’; and nor Yagus and Ya‘uq and Nasr |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And they said: You will by no means forsake your gods, nor will you forsake Wadd nor Suwa nor Yaghuth nor Yauq nor Nasr |
| Dr Munir Munshey They said (to their followers), ´Do not ever give up your gods. Never ever abandon (the worship of) Wada, Suwa, Yaguth, and nasr´ _(all names of idols being worshipped) |
