﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ فُرۡقَانٗا وَيُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 29]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا إن تتقوا الله يجعل لكم فرقانا ويكفر عنكم سيئاتكم﴾ [الأنفَال: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you people who have Believed! If you pay obedience to Allah He will develop for you, Furqan and shall write-off from you your sins and shall grant forgiveness for you. And Allah is the Possessor of the Great Bounty |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! If you are Godfearing of God, He will assign you a Criterion between right and wrong and will absolve you of your evil deeds and will forgive you. And God is Possessor of Sublime Grace |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh you who believe! If you fear Allah (and do your duty), He will bestow upon you the criterion _ (the ability to sift the right from wrong), rid you of your faults (and flaws), and also grant you forgiveness. Allah is the Lord of great honor |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye who believe! if ye fear God He will make for you a discrimination, and will cover for you your offences, and will forgive you; for God is Lord of mighty grace |
| Farook Malik O believers! If you fear Allah He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), do away with your sins and forgive you. Allah is the Lord of Mighty Grace |
| George Sale O ye who believe! if you do your duty to God, He will grant you a distinction and will remove your evils from you and will forgive you; and God is the Lord of great bounty |
| Maududi Believers! If you fear Allah He will grant you a criterion and will cleanse you of your sins and forgive you. Allah is Lord of abounding bounty |
