﴿وَإِذۡ يَمۡكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيُثۡبِتُوكَ أَوۡ يَقۡتُلُوكَ أَوۡ يُخۡرِجُوكَۚ وَيَمۡكُرُونَ وَيَمۡكُرُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَٰكِرِينَ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 30]
﴿وإذ يمكر بك الذين كفروا ليثبتوك أو يقتلوك أو يخرجوك ويمكرون ويمكر﴾ [الأنفَال: 30]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (bring to mind) when those who disbelieved plot against you that they may imprison you or they may kill you or extern you; and they make a scheme and Allah makes a scheme, and Allah is the Best of the planners |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And mention when those who were ungrateful plan against thee to bring thee to a standstill or to kill thee or to drive thee out. And they plan and God plans, but God is Best of the ones who plan |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Oh Muhammad, SAW, remember) how the unbelievers were plotting to capture you, get you killed or drive you out (of your home). They planned their tricks, while Allah (too) devised His schemes. Allah is absolutely the very Best of the planners |
| Edward Henry Palmer And when those who misbelieve were crafty with thee to detain thee a prisoner, or kill thee, or drive thee forth; they were crafty, but God was crafty too, for God is best of crafty ones |

| Maududi And recall how those who disbelieved schemed against you to take you captive, or kill you, or drive you away. They schemed and Allah did also scheme. Allah is the best of those who scheme |
