﴿كَمَآ أَخۡرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَيۡتِكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ لَكَٰرِهُونَ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 5]
﴿كما أخرجك ربك من بيتك بالحق وإن فريقا من المؤمنين لكارهون﴾ [الأنفَال: 5]
| Dr Kamal Omar It was with this intention that your Nourisher-Sustainer made you leave your home on the side of justice, and verily, a section among the Believers had been disinclined (to this move) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Just as thy Lord brought thee out from thy house with The Truth, and, truly, a group of people among the ones who believe were the ones who dislike it |
| Dr Munir Munshey A group of believers did not like it when your Lord made you leave your home for the right cause |
| Edward Henry Palmer As thy Lord caused thee to go forth from thy house with the truth, although a sect of the believers were averse therefrom |
| Farook Malik Your Lord ordered you to leave your home to fight for justice, but some of the believers were reluctant |
| George Sale This is because thy Lord has brought thee forth from thy house for a righteous purpose while a party of the believers were quite averse to it |
| Maududi (Now with regard to the spoils the same situation exists as when) your Lord brought you forth from your home in a righteous cause while a party among the believers were much averse to it |
