﴿وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 50]
﴿ولو ترى إذ يتوفى الذين كفروا الملائكة يضربون وجوههم وأدبارهم وذوقوا عذاب﴾ [الأنفَال: 50]
| Dr Kamal Omar And if you see when the angels bring death over those who have disbelieved: they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): “And taste the punishment of the blazing Fire |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And if thou wouldst see when those who were ungrateful are called to themselves by the angels, they are striking their faces and their backs saying: Experience the punishment of the burning |
