﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ قُل لِّمَن فِيٓ أَيۡدِيكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَسۡرَىٰٓ إِن يَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ خَيۡرٗا يُؤۡتِكُمۡ خَيۡرٗا مِّمَّآ أُخِذَ مِنكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 70]
﴿ياأيها النبي قل لمن في أيديكم من الأسرى إن يعلم الله في﴾ [الأنفَال: 70]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you Prophet! Tell to that who is in your hands out of the prisoners (of war): “If Allah knows in your hearts (any) good, He will give you better than what has been taken away from you; (may be Allah grants you Faith as a very handsome reward during your captivity), and He may grant Forgiveness for you. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O Prophet! Say to whom are in your hands of the prisoners of war: If God knows any good in your hearts, He will give you better than what was taken from you and He will forgive you. And God is Forgiving, Compassionate |
