﴿سَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لِتُعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَأَعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُمۡ رِجۡسٞۖ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 95]
﴿سيحلفون بالله لكم إذا انقلبتم إليهم لتعرضوا عنهم فأعرضوا عنهم إنهم رجس﴾ [التوبَة: 95]
| Dr Kamal Omar Soon they will swear by Allah to you when you returned to them (after accomplishing the encounters with the enemies of Islam) that you may overlook them (inspite of their indirect assistance to the infidels by avoiding to take part in the encounters), so do overlook them; definitely they are Rijsun and their dwelling place is Hell — a recompense for what they used to earn (through their hypocrisy) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They will swear to you by God when you turned about to them so that you renounce them. So renounce them. Truly, they are a disgrace. And their place of shelter will be hell, as a recompense for what they had been earning |
