﴿قَالُواْ يَٰنُوحُ قَدۡ جَٰدَلۡتَنَا فَأَكۡثَرۡتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[هُود: 32]
﴿قالوا يانوح قد جادلتنا فأكثرت جدالنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من﴾ [هُود: 32]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: O Nuh! indeed you have disputed with us and lengthened dispute with us, therefore bring to us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful ones |
| Mohammad Shafi They said, "O Noah! You did argue with us a great deal. Now bring us what you threaten us with, if what you say is the truth |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: O Noah! Thou hast disputed with us and multiplied disputation with us; now bring upon us that wherewith thou threatenest us, if thou art of the truthful |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “O NūH, you have debated with us, and debated too much. Now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are one of the truthful.” |
| Muhammad Asad [But the great ones] said: "O Noah! Thou hast contended with us in argument, and hast [needlessly] prolonged our controversy: bring upon us, therefore, that with which thou dost threaten us, if thou art a man of truth |
