Quran with British translation - Surah Hud ayat 54 - هُود - Page - Juz 12
﴿إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعۡتَرَىٰكَ بَعۡضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٖۗ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشۡهَدُوٓاْ أَنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ ﴾
[هُود: 54]
﴿إن نقول إلا اعتراك بعض آلهتنا بسوء قال إني أشهد الله واشهدوا﴾ [هُود: 54]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir We cannot say aught but that some of our gods have smitten you with evil. He said: Surely I call Allah to witness, and do you bear witness too, that I am clear of what you associate (with Allah) |
| Mohammad Shafi We do not but say that some of our gods have worked evil on you." He said, "I do indeed call Allah to witness — and you do bear witness — that I am absolutely free of the sin you commit of worshipping anyone |
