﴿يُوسُفُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِي لِذَنۢبِكِۖ إِنَّكِ كُنتِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَاطِـِٔينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 29]
﴿يوسف أعرض عن هذا واستغفري لذنبك إنك كنت من الخاطئين﴾ [يُوسُف: 29]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O Yusuf! turn aside from this; and (O my wife)! ask forgiveness for your fault, surely you are one of the wrong-doers |
| Mohammad Shafi Joseph! You stay away from this; and (to his wife) You ask forgiveness for your sin, You are indeed the one at fault |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O Joseph! Turn away from this, and thou, (O woman), ask forgiveness for thy sin. Lo! thou art of the faulty |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani O Yūsuf, ignore this matter, and you (O woman,) seek forgiveness for your sin, for you were guilty infact.” |
| Muhammad Asad [But,] Joseph, let this pass! And thou, [O wife,] ask forgiveness for thy sin-for, verily, thou hast been greatly at fault |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Yusuf, veer away from this; and you (woman) ask forgiveness of your guilty deed surely you were (one) of the sinners |
| Muhammad Sarwar Joseph, stay away from such affairs and you, woman, ask forgiveness for your sin; the guilt is yours |

| Safi Kaskas Joseph, overlook this. While you, [wife,] ask forgiveness for your sin-you are greatly at fault |
