﴿لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 88]
﴿لا تمدن عينيك إلى ما متعنا به أزواجا منهم ولا تحزن عليهم﴾ [الحِجر: 88]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers |
| Mohammad Shafi Pine not for that which We have given some of them to enjoy, nor grieve for them. And be kind to the believers |
