﴿وَإِمَّا تُعۡرِضَنَّ عَنۡهُمُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ رَحۡمَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرۡجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمۡ قَوۡلٗا مَّيۡسُورٗا ﴾ 
[الإسرَاء: 28]
﴿وإما تعرضن عنهم ابتغاء رحمة من ربك ترجوها فقل لهم قولا ميسورا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 28]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And if you turn away from them to seek mercy from your Lord, which you hope for, speak to them a gentle word  | 
| Mohammad Shafi And if you are not in a position to help them out and you are yourself seeking mercy from your Lord, speak to them a kind word  |
