﴿وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَسۡتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُخۡرِجُوكَ مِنۡهَاۖ وَإِذٗا لَّا يَلۡبَثُونَ خِلَٰفَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 76]
﴿وإن كادوا ليستفزونك من الأرض ليخرجوك منها وإذا لا يلبثون خلافك إلا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 76]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And surely they purposed to unsettle you from the land that they might expel you from it, and in that case they will not tarry behind you but a little |
| Mohammad Shafi And, indeed, they wanted to make you unsettled in the land in order to drive you therefrom. And in that case they would not have lived there after you but a little |
