﴿وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَمَثُوبَةٞ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞۚ لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 103]
﴿ولو أنهم آمنوا واتقوا لمثوبة من عند الله خير لو كانوا يعلمون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 103]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And if they had believed and guarded themselves (against evil), reward from Allah would certainly have been better; had they but known (this) |
| Mohammad Shafi And had they indeed believed and observed piety, better surely would be their lot with Allah - if only they knew |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And if they had believed and kept from evil, a recompense from Allah would be better, if they only knew |
