﴿وَإِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّهَ جَهۡرَةٗ فَأَخَذَتۡكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 55]
﴿وإذ قلتم ياموسى لن نؤمن لك حتى نرى الله جهرة فأخذتكم الصاعقة﴾ [البَقَرَة: 55]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when you said: O Musa! we will not believe in you until we see Allah manifestly, so the punishment overtook you while you looked on |
Mohammad Shafi And that time when you said, "O Moses! We won't believe you until we see Allah with our own eyes." The thunderbolt then struck you as you were watching!h |
