﴿وَإِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّهَ جَهۡرَةٗ فَأَخَذَتۡكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 55]
﴿وإذ قلتم ياموسى لن نؤمن لك حتى نرى الله جهرة فأخذتكم الصاعقة﴾ [البَقَرَة: 55]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when you said: O Musa! we will not believe in you until we see Allah manifestly, so the punishment overtook you while you looked on |
