Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 29 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿۞ وَمَن يَقُلۡ مِنۡهُمۡ إِنِّيٓ إِلَٰهٞ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 29]
﴿ومن يقل منهم إني إله من دونه فذلك نجزيه جهنم كذلك نجزي﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 29]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And whoever of them should say: Surely I am a god besides Him, such a one do We recompense with hell; thus do, We recompense the unjust |
| Mohammad Shafi And whoever of them says that he is indeed a god besides Him, We award Hell to such a one. We do thus award the wicked people |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And one of them who should say: Lo! I am a god beside Him, that one We should repay with hell. Thus We Repay wrong-doers |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Should any one of them say, “I am god besides Him”, We will recompense him with Jahannam (Hell). This is how We recompense the transgressors |
