﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡاْ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾
[الحج: 51]
﴿والذين سعوا في آياتنا معاجزين أولئك أصحاب الجحيم﴾ [الحج: 51]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And (as for) those who strive to oppose Our communications, they shall be the inmates of the flaming fire |
| Mohammad Shafi And those who strive to get the better of (or defeat the purpose of) Our Verses/signs — they shall be the inmates of the Hell |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall While those who strive to thwart Our revelations, such are rightful owners of the Fire |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani As for those who strive against Our signs, trying to defeat (the prophet or the believers), they are the people of the Fire.” |
