﴿قَدۡ كَانَتۡ ءَايَٰتِي تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡقَٰبِكُمۡ تَنكِصُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 66]
﴿قد كانت آياتي تتلى عليكم فكنتم على أعقابكم تنكصون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 66]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels |
| Mohammad Shafi My Verses were certainly recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels |
