Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Furqan ayat 36 - الفُرقَان - Page - Juz 19
﴿فَقُلۡنَا ٱذۡهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ تَدۡمِيرٗا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 36]
﴿فقلنا اذهبا إلى القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فدمرناهم تدميرا﴾ [الفُرقَان: 36]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then We said: Go you both to the people who rejected Our communications; so We destroyed them with utter destruction |
| Mohammad Shafi We then told them both to go to the people who had denied Our signs. We then put those people to ruin |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then We said: Go together unto the folk who have denied Our revelations. Then We destroyed them, a complete destruction |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So we said, “Go, both of you, to the people who have rejected Our signs” Then We annihilated them totally |
| Muhammad Asad and We said, “Go you both unto the people who have given the lie to Our messages!” - and thereupon We broke those [sinners] to smithereens |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali So We said, "Go you (both) to the people who have cried lies to Our signs." Then We destroyed them an utter destruction |
| Muhammad Sarwar We told them, "Both of you go to the people who have rejected Our revelations." We completely destroyed these unbelievers |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani So we said, .Go, both of you, to the people who have rejected Our signs. Then We annihilated them totally |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition We had ordered ˹them˺, “Go to the people who would deny Our signs.” Then We annihilated the deniers entirely |
