﴿أَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِ وَكِيلًا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 43]
﴿أرأيت من اتخذ إلهه هواه أفأنت تكون عليه وكيلا﴾ [الفُرقَان: 43]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Have you seen him who takes his low desires for his god? Will you then be a protector over him |
| Mohammad Shafi Have you seen one who has taken one's own desire to be one'a god? Can you be a guardian over such a one |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Hast thou seen him who chooseth for his god his own lust? Wouldst thou then be guardian over him |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Tell me about the one who has taken his desire as his god, would you then, become a guardian for him |
| Muhammad Asad Hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who makes his own desires his deity? Couldst thou, then, [O Prophet,] be held responsible for him |
