﴿إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوۡلَآ أَن صَبَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 42]
﴿إن كاد ليضلنا عن آلهتنا لولا أن صبرنا عليها وسوف يعلمون حين﴾ [الفُرقَان: 42]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He had well-nigh led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is straying farther off from the path |
| Mohammad Shafi Indeed, he would almost have led us away from our deities, had we not stood firmly with them!" And when they experience the punishment, they shall realize who it is that had strayed from the path |
