﴿وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ رَبُّكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ عَادُونَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 166]
﴿وتذرون ما خلق لكم ربكم من أزواجكم بل أنتم قوم عادون﴾ [الشعراء: 166]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits |
| Mohammad Shafi And you shun the spouses whom your Lord has created for you? Nay, you are a transgressing people |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And leave the wives your Lord created for you? Nay, but ye are froward folk |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? Indeed you are a people who cross (all) limits.” |
| Muhammad Asad keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!” |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And leave behind what your Lord created for you as spouses? No indeed, (but) you are an aggressive people |
| Muhammad Sarwar instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? Indeed you are a people who cross (all) limits |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.” |
| Mustafa Khattab God Edition leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.” |
| N J Dawood and eschew the wives whom God has created for you? Surely you are a sinful people |
| Safi Kaskas and leave the mates your Lord has created for you? You people have transgressed all bounds |
