Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Qasas ayat 49 - القَصَص - Page - Juz 20
﴿قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبٖ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمَآ أَتَّبِعۡهُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 49]
﴿قل فأتوا بكتاب من عند الله هو أهدى منهما أتبعه إن كنتم﴾ [القَصَص: 49]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: Then bring some (other) book from Allah which is a better guide than both of them, (that) I may follow it, if you are truthful |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "Then bring a scripture from Allah that would give guidance clearer than these two. I shall follow it, if what you say is true |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Then bring a scripture from the presence of Allah that giveth clearer guidance than these two (that) I may follow it, if ye are truthful |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Say, “Then bring a book from Allah which is better than both, in guidance, and I shall follow it, if you are true.” |
| Muhammad Asad Say: “Produce, then, [another] revelation from God which would offer better guidance than either of these two [and] I shall follow it, if you speak the truth!” |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Say, "Then come up with a Book from the Providence of Allah that gives (fairer) guidance (Literally: more guiding) than these (two), (and) I (should) closely follow it, in case you are sincere |
| Muhammad Sarwar (Muhammad), tell them, "Bring a Book if you are able to, from God better in its guidance than the Torah and the Quran; I shall follow it |
