﴿وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗاۖ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 33]
﴿ولما أن جاءت رسلنا لوطا سيء بهم وضاق بهم ذرعا وقالوا لا﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 33]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when Our apostles came to Lut he was grieved on account of them, and he felt powerless (to protect) them; and they said: Fear not, nor grieve; surely we will deliver you and your followers, except your wife; she shall be of those who remain behind |
| Mohammad Shafi And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Lot, he was worried about them, and he felt powerless to protect them. And they said, "Fear not, nor grieve. We shall indeed save you and your household except for your wife. She is to be among those left behind |
