﴿يَوۡمَ تَبۡيَضُّ وُجُوهٞ وَتَسۡوَدُّ وُجُوهٞۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡوَدَّتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ أَكَفَرۡتُم بَعۡدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 106]
﴿يوم تبيض وجوه وتسود وجوه فأما الذين اسودت وجوههم أكفرتم بعد إيمانكم﴾ [آل عِمران: 106]
Mohammad Habib Shakir On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black; then as to those whose faces turn black: Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved |
Mohammad Shafi That Daysome faces will brighten, and some faces will darken. Then those with darkened faces will be told, "Did you suppress the Truth after you had come to know the Truth!? Taste then the punishment since you suppressed the Truth |
