﴿وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَٰبٗا مُّؤَجَّلٗاۗ وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَا وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَاۚ وَسَنَجۡزِي ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 145]
﴿وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد﴾ [آل عِمران: 145]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And a soul will not die but with the permission of Allah the term is fixed; and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the hereafter I shall give him of it, and I will reward the grateful |
Mohammad Shafi None can die except by Allah's command at a recorded fixed time. And as for the person who desires a reward in this world, We give it to that person therefrom. And as for the person who desires a reward in the Hereafter, We give it to that person therefrom. And We shall reward those that turn to us in gratitude |
