﴿يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَنتُمۡ تَشۡهَدُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 70]
﴿ياأهل الكتاب لم تكفرون بآيات الله وأنتم تشهدون﴾ [آل عِمران: 70]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O followers of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah while you witness (them) |
| Mohammad Shafi O People of the Book! Why do you suppress Allah's Verses/signs, and you are witnesses thereto |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the revelations of Allah, when ye (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani O people of the Book, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah (revealed in the former Scriptures to foretell about the advent of the Holy Prophet ?) while you are yourselves witnesses (to those verses) |
